Unconsciousness is the loss of consciousness

due to a painful condition.

Oblivion is the loss of memory (outdated).

But does the loss of memory mean the loss of consciousness as well?

The mirrors are able to remember—so say the beliefs of different cultures. The mirror is an impartial spectator and chronicler. But what if someone turns all the mirrors off?  Just like the TV screen of civilization by touching the button on the remote. What if we forget about all the mirrors?

Within the project called Oblivion, Lana Stalnaya is exploring the subject of memory. Is the memory able to become the basis for the further continuation of civilization? Are the mirrors always so accurate and impartial? Haven't they become crooked?

​

Now the mirrors reflect only blurred glitches, glares and streaks of gasoline. The streaks of consciousness switched off along with the memory. The world is falling deep down into darkness, but it keeps on glowing with the modern neon glitches.

Memory is the foundation of hope that one morning our civilization will not wake up as the switched off TV.
